At a very young age I absolutely loved anything artistic. When I decided to go away to college my father wanted me to study photography, my mother wanted me to study interior decorating and my uncle said to study fashion design so that when I graduated I could produce Crop Over bands, so I did. I studied at the Arts Institute of Fort Lauderdale, earning a degree in Fashion Design. I came back to Barbados and designed countless amounts of bands for the Blue Box Cart but it wasn’t enough. Five years ago I went solo producing Party Gras Mayhem, Xtreme Pirate, Xtreme Safari and Katrina Can’t Stop US. I then hooked up with Paul Enterprises Ltd to produce “Jump” Celebrating 25 years in operation.
Every year I have won many prizes such as Small Band of the Year but last year was one of my proudest moments placing 3rd for Best Designer of the Year. Things can only get better. Our team puts a lot of work and effort into the making of this band. I am proud and honored to be a part of Paul Enterprises Ltd.
